Triple U is an Asian-inspired cocktail bar in Fitzroy, bringing familiar ingredients and flavours into modern cocktails. Its menus often draw inspiration from Asian culture while keeping the drinks fun, approachable and a little unexpected. Its soundtrack, meanwhile, is all about Chinese hip hop, which along with the drinks, is served till midnight six nights a week.
At the heart of Triple U is a simple idea: great cocktails should begin with quality ingredients. The team works with fresh fruit, herbs and carefully selected produce to create drinks with clear, natural flavours.

After the Rain
After the Rain first appeared on Triple U’s Yin and Yang menu and became its bestselling cocktail, so the team decided to keep it. Designed to represent the element of wood, it combines gin, bitter melon, apple, pineapple, lime and tonic, finished with a plant-inspired garnish. It’s fresh, lightly bitter and crisp, like the air after rainfall.

The Ramos Series
The Ramos is an ongoing series at Triple U, with a new selection of flavours introduced each season. Each version keeps the classic Ramos Gin Fizz combination of gin, citrus, cream, egg white and soda, but adds a playful twist. The current flavours include nori, strawberry, pandan, blackberry and lemon cheese, ranging from fruity and familiar to savoury and unexpected.

Drink Three: Yuzu Mint Sling
The Sling is an important genre in cocktail history, so we wanted to create our own Asian-inspired interpretation. The Yuzu Mint Sling combines yuzushu, tequila, blue curaçao, fresh mint, lime and lemonade. It’s a light, fizzy and refreshing cocktail with bright citrus and mint flavours.
