Westside Wanders: Sunshine Flavours Tour

Enjoy a flavour-filled journey through Sunshine with Westside Wanders. Hosted by food writer Richard Cornish, this tour takes you from a refreshing Vietnamese coffee to an exclusive banh mi picnic spot with glorious views. Wander through specialty stores and sample local favourites before settling in for a vibrant main course and traditional coffee ceremony at an Ethiopian restaurant. A playful, delicious way to taste Sunshine’s world of flavours in one afternoon.

The tour kicks off at MB Lynch Memorial Gardens where you'll be welcomed by your host and roving entertainment, along with an iced Vietnamese coffee by Phin Di on arrival. Then enjoy a mini banh mi from Fresh Chilli Deli at a rooftop venue with city views that's not usually open to the public. Next comes a tour of TDP Marts (a huge Vietnamese grocery store) and at premium butcher NC Food (for its dry-aged meats), including tastings and take-home gifts. This is followed by a main course with traditional stews on injera bread, and a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony (including popcorn) at Gojo Ethiopian Café & Restaurant.
