The Cook’s Companion is a staple in most home kitchens across the country: a beloved culinary bible that has taught generations how to cook and transformed the weeknight menus of everyday Australians since it was first released in 1996.

Now, to celebrate the extraordinary impact of this book, join Australian treasure Stephanie Alexander for an intimate three-course dinner at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins’ No35 restaurant, complete with breath-taking panoramic views of the city skyline.

Join host Virginia Trioli and Alexander as she discusses her philosophies around food, cooking and pleasure. Enjoy tales of Alexander’s remarkable career to date and be amongst the first to discover the 30th anniversary edition of The Cook’s Companion over a meal to be remembered.

Most dietary requirements can be accommodated – please provide more details when booking your ticket. Alexander will sign books near the end of the evening.

Presented in partnership with The Wheeler Centre and Sofitel Melbourne On Collins.
