Tipo 75

Corner 75 is at once the hottest new restaurant in Sydney and a site with 40 years of history. For decades it served as a magnet and meeting place for Australia’s Hungarian community, and in 2025, it was rebooted by the teams from fine-dining landmark Sixpenny and those loudest, proudest champions of the migrant culture of the suburbs Baba’s Place.

In October the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide named it Restaurant of the Year, describing it as “a restaurant setting benchmarks for food and service, pushing the hospitality industry forward and supporting Australian producers”, and in March 2026 you can see the magic for yourself as chef Carly Scheidegger and the crew bring the show to Tipo 00 in all its caraway-scented and sour cream-flecked glory.

Expect big flavours, big noise, and a big celebration of the food of Hungary, and its connections with Italy.
