It's an invitation from the Ottolenghi co-founder and co-author of the award-winning Ottolenghi: The Cookbook, Jerusalem and Falastin on a journey into the kitchens, gardens and traditions that shaped him.

Through intimate conversation, Sami shares the flavours of his childhood, the craft of preserving the seasons, and the deep-rooted generosity at the heart of Palestinian food culture. Grounded, abundant and deeply personal, Sami reflects on his life, career and the heritage that guides his work.

Discover how vegetables, grains and herbs become stories of home, memory and connection, and the simple, seasonal, communal approach that defines Palestinian cuisine.
