Join Mortadeli, the much loved Maltese-Italian pasta bar from Torquay, for a Roman style takeover at Orlo. For this one-off comeback - the pasta bar part of Mortadeli wrapped in June - Orlo will transform into a buzzing trattoria for one crazy weekend of incredible food and joyful service. The space will be dressed to match the mood: red-and-white-checked tablecloths, vintage Italian film posters, warm lighting, Spritz on tap and a soundtrack of Italian disco that will have you swaying in your seat.

Your ticket includes a true Mortadeli experience, starting with its famous snacks, then it’s over to you to choose from four classic Roman pastas: rich, silky carbonara, the peppery perfection of cacio e pepe, slow-cooked Amatriciana with just the right hit of chilli, or the porky elegance of gricia. And to finish, a proper tiramisù: creamy, boozy, coffee-soaked and unapologetically generous.

A welcome Spritz will greet you on arrival, an amaro will close the meal, and in between you can explore a short, sharp wine list of Victorian-made Italian varieties. If cocktails are more your style, try Orlo's Tomato Martini – it’s as punchy as it sounds, to match the loud, fast, fun dining.
