London’s AngloThai, the Michelin-starred restaurant where British ingredients meet the bold heat and aromatic brilliance of Thai cooking, comes to Melbourne for an exclusive collaboration at Clover.
Chef John Chantarasak, known for his fearless, flavour-charged approach to cooking and his deep respect for both British and Thai culinary traditions, has made AngloThai one of London’s most exciting and talked-about restaurants. Blending British seafood, heritage meats, and seasonal produce with the aromatics and intensity of Thai cuisine, Chantarasak’s cooking has roots in both place and passion.
The menu will be inspired by Thai and South-East Asian cuisine using seasonal Australian produce, mirroring the cooking ethos of AngloThai and Clover, with food served alongside a small batch of artisanal wines from biodynamic Australian wine producers.
“I’m extremely excited to be travelling to MFWF to collaborate with chef Charley and his team at Clover," John says. "I was fortunate to visit Melbourne in 2023 and was able to enjoy the incredible food scene on show in this cosmopolitan city, but one of the standout dining experiences I had on that trip was at Clover - the cooking, hospitality and vibes are world-class, and I’m thrilled to bring my AngloThai cooking ethos and flavours to the Clover kitchen.”
