With crisp autumn mornings upon us and the scent of wood smoke on the evening air, a short break to High Country Harvest (15 – 24 May) in North East Victoria might be just the thing to warm your soul – and your appetite.

Local producers are dusting off the soil from freshly picked root vegetables, chefs are foraging madly for mushrooms and other wild ingredients, and the region's village streets, mountains and valleys are alive with hues of gold and red.
