With the natural beauty of this iconic region’s diverse Australian landscapes and the hidden charm of historic towns and walking tracks, the Murray is a must-see when visiting regional Victoria. Winding through five contrasting landscapes for over 2,500km, this extraordinary river will take you on a journey.

To reach Albury from Melbourne, travel via the Hume/National Freeway (M31). To reach Echuca from Melbourne, take either the Calder Freeway (M79) or the Hume Freeway (M31), then onto the Northern Highway (B75) and explore the fascinating townships along the way.

From Echuca, either take your Murray journey East through Yarrawonga, Mulwala and Corowa or West to the scenic view of towns, Swan Hill and Mildura.

Public Transport
