Cibi introduced Melbourne to the world of traditional Japanese breakfast in 2008. Your early morning rise for the Festival in March will start with organic sencha tea as you prepare rice in a traditional kamado-san, cook tama-goyaki, create seasonal homely miso soup, fire up the shichirin to char-grill salmon and explore the world of preserved foods - nori, umeboshi, natto and tsukemono among them.

Sake from Shiragiku Shuzo, Okayama Prefecture will be served, and enjoying your traditional Japanese breakfast will round out your morning.

Good things happen for early risers - in this case a workshop designed for home cooks with a big heart!
