Celebrate Australia's native botanicals in spirit form alongside a contemporary barbecue at Rothwell Distillery's newly revamped cellar door in the prime agrarian setting of historic Mt Rothwell Estate.
Rothwell Distillery is one of Australia’s premier paddock-to-bottle gin distillery, growing, harvesting, fermenting and distilling crops and botanicals grown in the foothills of the You Yangs in all its spirits. They'll star here in tastings and cocktails paired with a five-course dégustation prepared by chef Bart Beek of Essence BBQ Labs in this feast of local delights.
Expect small plates such as gin-cured kingfish and flame-charred chicken inasal, and larger dishes of fire-roasted lamb shoulder and barbecued kangaroo.
